Ariella Leeder
I’m a lifelong educator with a passion for helping young people discover and grow their potential in every area of life. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and my graduate degree from Indiana University with a focus in Gifted and Talented Education. I taught for 23 years in Del Mar Union School District and had the privilege of working with remarkable students and families, many of whom I still keep in contact with today!

I am a proud mom of three boys: twin sons who attend UC Berkeley and Franklin & Marshall College, and a rising senior at Del Norte High School. Outside of work, I stay active with hip hop dance, hiking, and hot yoga—and this year, I challenged myself by taking my first-ever tap dance class, because I believe in stepping into new and sometimes uncomfortable spaces to keep learning and growing.

One of my greatest professional joys has been my involvement in the Future Problem Solving Program. Over the years, I’ve been a student participant, evaluator, board member, affiliate director, and soon to be an international trainer. This spring, I’ll travel to Singapore to lead a four-day training for new coaches alongside a staff member from the International FPS office.

I’m also deeply passionate about travel and exploring other cultures, always looking for ways to connect, learn, and bring new perspectives back to my work with students.
